Set in charming Canadian, Texas, The Citadelle provides an elegant location to celebrate your event in style. The Citadelle is an extraordinary one-of-a-kind museum including the Gardens, the Galleries, the Historic Mansion, and a visitor's center encompassing almost an entire city block. The Citadelle estate is a 100-year-old Canadian landmark that was originally built as the First Baptist Church and later became the Church of Christ. Many marriages have been performed here over the years, and now your wedding could be here as well.
The Gardens provide a truly beautiful setting for weddings and receptions throughout the year. The Event Coordinator at The Citadelle will be personally involved in the organization of your special day and will work closely with you to create the wedding of your dreams. A catering kitchen and conference gallery are available and included in the wedding/reception package.

EVENT, WEDDING AND RECEPTION RENTAL INFO
All rentals include white garden chairs for seating, 60" round tables and white table linens, table and chair set up and take-down. The Citadelle offers tables and seating capacity of 250.
The Citadelle strives to accommodate many different groups and events. Please call to talk with an event planner so that our pricing structure best fits your needs.
We have some limitations on decorations, floral, and seating/dining in order to provide a successful event. The gallery will be available for inclement weather.
Due to the significant art collections and historic value of the mansion, wedding ceremonies and receptions will not be allowed in the home. However, for complete facility rentals, the Mansion and Gallery may be opened during your event. Please call to speak with an event planner for more details.
